The Veo 3.1 family of models on Vertex AI now includes three tiers to cater to different video generation needs. Veo 3.1 is designed for high-fidelity video generation, Veo 3.1 Fast provides faster video generation while maintaining quality, and Veo 3.1 Lite is the most cost-effective option for building high-volume video applications. Alongside these new models, Google Cloud AI has also launched a Veo upscaling capability that allows users to enhance their existing low-resolution videos to higher 1080p and 4K resolutions, regardless of the source.
