The model was pre-trained on 28.5 trillion tokens and supports a 200K context window, allowing it to handle long-form tasks like advanced reasoning, coding, and multi-step workflows. GLM-5 ranks in the top five on nearly every major frontier benchmark, outperforming proprietary models like GPT-5.2 and Claude Opus 4.5. Its architecture incorporates DeepSeek's Multi-head Latent Attention and Dynamic Sparse Attention, which reduces deployment cost while preserving long-context capabilities.
