The author has been working on a local, open-source video editor called 'vlo' that is powered by ComfyUI. This allows users to integrate their existing ComfyUI workflows directly into the video editing process. The editor offers features like keyframing and splining of transformations, built-in effects, and SAM2 masking with a points editor. It also has a generation feature that includes a ComfyUI bridge, pre- and post-processing of inputs/outputs, and workflow rules for selecting what to expose in the generation panel. The project is currently in the alpha stage, and the author is seeking community feedback and testing to help catch bugs and grow the project into a truly open and extensible platform.
